How to Build a Robotic Vibraphone PT4: Performance

In the last year I have been building a lot of techno robots. But about two years ago I went on a quest to build my first full-blown tonal instrument! I decided it should be a VIBRAPHONE, this classic jazz instrument. After a complicated and joyful ride with many technical and acoustic "challenges" I finally presented a working prototype at the Werkleitz Festival Halle and I am so glad that it all worked! Next stop is the ARS ELECTRONICA where it can be seen in its final shape!
